We have an in-house design team. We also have state of the art Boria Design software. A master designer draws a design in free hand drawing on a graph paper or on a computer clip board. Each tiny box represents a knot in the carpet. Water-colors are used to guide the weaver where to tie the knots in various colors with the dyed yarn. Some weavers also request our designers to translate this colored design into a language called ‘Taalam’. In this language each sign represents a color and number of knots of that colour.
